LED Mounts

Post by Jrjones »

Made some simple mounts for LED lights in a customer's new Ford van to replace the halogen lights.
The LED's were slightly larger than the flat where the existing lights were.
Old lights were 10W each, new LEDs are 12W each, which I supplied as well.

I did take the pictures with my phone so the difference isn't quite as noticeable as in person. The halogens are dimmer and more yellow, and the LEDs are a clean white light in person.
I probably need to turn my temperature down a little to get rid of the stringing.

The fan is in the van because the shelving + rubber floormat was just installed, so the rubber is still offgassing quite a bit.

A very nice job!
I can definitely see the difference between the LED and the Halogen and the LED wins!
