Dryer Door Handle

Post by wsmac7 »

Working on a replacement dryer door handle for my girlfriend. The original handle is cracked through the whole baseplate.
It's actually a fun project for a newbie like me!
I just have to place small tabs underneath the base on each long side in order to 'snap' the part into the handle opening of the sheetmetal door.
I keep putting it aside to work on other stuff.
Also... this will be my first project where I have to place supports and I'm figuring a raft also.
Seeing as how there will be space underneath but those little tabs sticking down, as well as an uneven bottom, I'm supposing a raft is called for?
Looking forward to finishing this up.

Perhaps this could be printed setting on the top side with support turn on?

Nice job, however you print it, try to avoid internal supports - they're a pain in the ass to remove
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
