Wiring the Power from the Onyx to the RAMBO

Post by robstah »

Hey guys. I am so close to boot time and got stuck. I couldn't find anyone who soldered up two 18ga wire sets to the Onyx that then connected the two groups straight to the RAMBO. Am I supposed to twist the two sets together and use the single channel on the RAMBO, or can I use all three heat connections (one for the hot end, and the other two for the Onyx)? I ask because twisting the two wire sets together will not fit in the screw down holders that are on my RAMBO.

use the biggest wire that will fit those screw type connectors for the heat bed.

do you have the new style board with the built in screw terminals for the heatbed connections? I think the older/earlier version had bigger connectors that plugged into the board.

It's the new style board with the screw terminals.

Alright, after de-mounting the RAMBO and looking at the screw terminals, I was able to fit both 18ga wires in the terminal together without twisting. That was the trick. Thanks. :D

I have two 12 gage wires with no twist. Fits perfect.
