Strange prints

Post by XpresoAdct »

Hello all,
I have never seen this before. My calibration cubes were curled up on their top left corner. These were not from bed adhesion, but from a shortened corner movement.
I was curious what was happening so I printed a Z tower to see what happens along the Z axis. That printed strange also.
Printed in ABS with MatterControl at 228 degrees with a bed of 100 degrees.
Any ideas what might cause this?

Looks like your parts need more cooling. Increase your part cooling fan percentage.

There's some elephants foot happening here as well, lower your bed temperature by 5 degrees.

I should have mentioned, this is ABS at 228 with a 100 degree bed.

Perhaps try increasing your ABS temperature as well. I print ABS at 255 / 240 most of the time for small parts.
