New Builder of Rostock Max Ver2 Mansfield Ohio
Hello all I'm Ralph..... I bought a Rostock Max Ver2 back in December while the kids where on break. Needless to say I havent had alot of time to work on it. I just recently got all my aftermarket parts and got it assembled. I hope to use to build some prototypes for some projects we usually farm out. I'm amazed at how uncomplicated the basic build components are. I am still sorting out a few things. One being my display not functioning correctly. Another is just getting the machine calibrated. Other than that it seems to function. I have complicated my build with aftermarket parts. Which I should know better starting any new project. Anyway I am glad I found the site and appreciate all the effort put in here by others. I will be posting some questions soon. Thanks so much Ralph!

Hi Ralph and it is great to have you as a member and I welcome to the Forum.
One important point DO NOT EVER PLUG OR UNPLUG ANYTHING WHILE THE PRINTER IS TURNED ON, ALWAYS UNPLUG THE PRINTER FROM THE WALL SOCKET BEFORE HAND AND THIS INCLUDES FUSES, MACHINE MUST BE OFF AND NO AC!
I am glad that printer is mostly built and one tip I can give you is take the cables from the LCD and swap them, unplug one and place it in the other one's socket after removing the other one
and take the last unplugged and put it into the first socket. This may work. Sometimes you have to completely reverse the way the plug connects into the socket, remove the lcd cable and turn completely
around and plug it into the same socket. Try the rotation on the second one if the first one did not fix it.
I wish you luck in getting the LCD working and then I would like to wish you HAPPY PRINTING!
