Broken thermistor, calibrate the new one?

So i managed to fry my thermistor on the hotend and now i'm almost finished installing the new on. But then i startet thinking, do i need to calibrate the new thermistor?
It's the exact same thermistor as the one i fried.

Yes, calibrate it.

You do the calibration because there's a tolerance between them. If they were all the same, the firmware would come already dialed in perfectly.
