Using rostock max v2 un moddified.
ABS 1.75mm.
Using repetier host with cura engine.
Couldn't use mattercontrol because it has a bug on 32bit linux. Just got a fix yesterday from matter hackers. it was missing serial library for 32bit linux

So since i did all my calibrations on repetier i'm sticking with it.
The first nose print came out great for the most part.
What i didn't like was the first layer and i am not quite sure which settings will create what i want.
Since i will be making 6 sections that will get connected together (like a tube), i wanted the bottom face of the first layer to be as solid/flat as possible. See the Pics. It looks like it is making a loose grid pattern which ends up getting peeled a way a bit when i pull it off the bed.
everything else on the print looks great, no drooping what so ever.
What setting will give me a more fuller/solid first layer? not necessarily taller but more filled in?
I didn't use a raft as a support but maybe i should?
