Hi! I built my Rostock and I can't believe it worked! I was sorta expecting a puff of smoke. I'm amazed how amazing it is.
I ordered a whole sample pack of ninjaflex, but now I'm reading about how it isn't intended for a boden system like on my Rostock max v2.
What do I need to do to upgrade to an extruder that will handle this? I saw a couple of articles where the extruder is modified, but I want to be able to print pla and abs also.
Thank you!

The mods shouldn't prevent using other filaments. They should just be aimed at fully supporting the filament path from the drive gear on so the flex filaments don't deflect themselves from the path rather than extruding.

I'd use a flying extruder and an extruder body meant for flexibles (filament path fully constrained by teflon tube). A good design to check out is from here. The shorter more constrained path should work relatively well.

The Bondtech QR extruder is one of the best on the market for general use and can handle the flexible filaments as well.
It is worth taking a look at if you can afford it, you will also need the mount for it, purchased or printed with the STL.
