Hi,
I just completed by build this afternoon and have started it up (to be specific a Rostock Max V2 stock standard, RAMBO mobo etc). Unfortunately Windows 10 hasn't detected any activity on the USB ports.
I've tried two USB cables, two computers and a variety of ports, still no action. The LCD, LEDs, fans and so on on the Rostock are all doing what they should be, so I don't think I've managed to kill it just yet. My next move will be to find a computer running an older version of Windows. Any other suggestions?

Did you install the driver? It's required. The Assembly Manual tells where to get it and how to install it.

I have the driver and the calibration manual. The first step in the manual is to plug the printer in by USB and turn it on, wait for the unknown device to come up and then install the driver. I'm not seeing any device (unknown or otherwise) get detected.
Is there a way to install the driver without detection and get different results?

OK, making progress
The printer didn't show up in Device Manager, but did show up under printers and devices, have uploaded the driver, thanks for the assistance.

I am having the same issue! I found this thread and have now located rambo under "Devices and Printers". It comes up as "USB Serial Device (COM6)"CDRELXIV wrote:OK, making progressThe printer didn't show up in Device Manager, but did show up under printers and devices, have uploaded the driver, thanks for the assistance.
It won't let me update the driver from there though. How did you update the driver from "Devices and printers"?

Dale, if it's appearing like you state, there's nothing more for you to do - just pick COM6 as the port when you're configuring MatterControl.
