Gaps in print between Z and Y

Post by corryw »

I have had my printer for a while and I get gaps between perimeter and the infill between the Z and Y posts. I have zeroed out Z and have the center and all 3 posts are calibrated. I have tried this with both MatterControl and Simplify3D and even though the print is some what different, they are both leaving gaps on the same side.

Any help would be appreciated...

Hi, if that's the first layer it could be a bed leveling issue.
Let it print a few layers, 4 or 5. If the problem persists, my guess is tower lean. Or there is something mechanical blocking the effector when it moves in that sector.

I have calibrated it and it doesn't seem to change the first layer, shouldn't calibration take care of a bed level issue? If is tower lean, do I level off of the print surface or the surface under it?
