Question about print troubleshooting. I am having an issue on the solid layers and also a little with stringing. There are gaps between the lines on solid layers and a little gap between the infil and outer walls. I am printing with PLA. Have temp set to 200. Retraction is set at 6.4mm. I also set 30% overlap between infil and walls. Any tips for settings to try would be helpful. I am using simplify3d as the slicer. Attached is a picture. Also, on a side note I notice it taking a few seconds before filament to flow even after doing a purge and wipe before starting the skirt. Any tips on helping that as well?

Re: Print troubleshooting
I would try and get the Z height closer to the bed a bit and increase your extrusion multiplier to say 98 if it is at 95. Print first layer slow maybe at 40% of print speed which should be at no more than 40 for starters. Your outline overlap should be around 20% and the infill extrusion width start at 120%. 200 is a good temp for PLA if your thermister is reading correctly. Check it with a temperature probe on a multi meter. It is very important the thermister is calibrated correctly.
Re: Print troubleshooting
When I set the z-height in the calibration does it then start a print at z=0.2, Assuming the layer height it 0.2, Or does it start to print to z=0.0?
Re: Print troubleshooting
My extrusion multiplier is currently set at 1. I will check out the z height and speed settings and see how that changes things.
