LCD control knob not working

The lcd control knob on my rostock max v2 is not working. It is able to spin and switch between the time printed screen and the temp screen, but nothing happens when I push it in, not even the clicking sound. I checked to see if something was clogging it but it seems to push in just fine. I have no idea whats wrong!? Do I just need a new lcd control board?

Just fixed it nevermind!!!!!

That happened to me a few months ago... some very thin (almost invisible) filament wisps got wrapped around the knob's shaft
