What's the best product for embedding a thermister in a heatbed?

You can just tape it on with some kapton tape.

I'm going to say a ceramic based non-conductive thermal epoxy, but Joe's right.

I would not feel secure using Kapton tape alone. My first printer I built I bought a heat bed that came with thermister on eBay and it came with a small tube of stuff for embedding it. It's been three years and it's still hard as a rock. But there was no name on the tube saying what it was. Does anyone know a product name for a ceramic based epoxy?

I did it as the manual said and it's doing fine, almost 3 years and never came out.
RTV + Kapton tape.

http://www.arcticsilver.com/arctic_alum ... hesive.htm is a good ceramic based thermal adhesive. But yeah, the RTV and Kapton tape works to secure the thermistor fine.

I hope you went with the stuff that Xenocrates recommended.
It cures very solid and once cured the parts cannot be separated.
Good recommendation and I am glad you followed it.
