Retraction test.

Here are the pictures for the retraction test we printed. Trying to get any idea of what causing this. Looking through different guides on the web, it seem this could be one of multiple problems, so just trying to get an idea of the trouble shooting fellow Max users would follow.

Looks to me like a couple things could improve the quality of this particular print.

If you are using PLA, this print could benefit from a lowering in print temp, as well as improved fan cooling. You may even try slowing the speed of the print down, in order to give the plastic more of a chance to cool.

If it is ABS, refer to my last hint for PLA. Printing slower will let the plastic harden a bit. This part appears to be scaled fairly small, so I would imagine this test print completed in about 5-10 minutes. If it was completed this fast, or faster, try slowing it down a bit, because structures that small need a chance to cool before having more hot plastic dumped on them.

Also, in the future, it helps others to diagnose your problems if you list what material you are printing with (ABS, PLA, etc.) at what temps, and what kind of hotend you are running (Stock SeeMeCNC, SeeMeCNC HE280, E3D V6, etc.)

Thanks, I realized as I was reading your response I forgot the basics info that's needed, was in a rush to get this up before heading out the door for the day.

We'll try slowing it down and report back.
