Extrusion length
Just a word of warning to anyone using the lines etched into the panels or the slot method of adjusting the base to home position variable. Measure your extrusions first!!! Mine were an 1/8" of between each other and one pair was closer to 1/4" off. Neither installation method yielded acceptable results, I ended up just using the base to lid measurement as a standard. I would have (if I had known earlier about the length discrepancy) ground them all to equal length and used either of the aformentioned methods.

Re: Extrusion length
I made it clear to make sure everything is aligned before you begin this process.

Aligned or not the method will not work if the extrusions are different lengths.

No, since your write up is not included in the software package Seemecnc provides, it does little to help anyone that may read this section. That is exactly why I put in this section. I honestly can not understand your (I assume) defensive posture on this. It is a warning to a new user going through the build. Your method is fabulous, and as I stated it did not work for me becuase my extrusions were different lengths. If your write up includes a comment on ensuring the extrusions are equal length then bravo! The original one (IIRC) does not.

oh, was talking about my write up. i'm not gonna say anything about the manual, since i get called names for mentioning any discrepancies in there.
