If so, could you provide me with the specs to do so myself? How DIY friendly is it?

I believe both cambo3d and mhackney have or are working on this. There are a few printable adapters available to make the modification, as long is you are looking to keep it bowden. Check these out :

I want to keep it Bowden, I hear it's too much weight to put on the hot end platform. I will check these out, Thanks again Foshon.

I am digging that RichRap Version. Now just have to wait for new hot end to come in.
