Today i finally removed the PTFE part inside the hotend.
It was pretty bad, it had ruptured in one place... and the tip was completely black.
It was very difficult to push filament through the nozzle, even when it was heated to 240 degs. I could not push it with a reasonnable speed by moving the motor using the knob. And it would be very easy to dig in to the filament using the motor.
They way I removed it was: I pushed one of the long screws that hold the hotend to the platform from the bowden tube side. The PTFE tube came out the other side (nozzle side).
I hope to replace it in a few moments.
I did have cooling fan failiure some time ago, after that it was ok for a while but then it just gradually got worse and worse.
(Damn random things that get in the way!, it took me 1.5 months)

if that PTFE black end is due to heat charing be careful not to touch it... the F in PTFE stands for fluorine and at high temperatures it decomposes and with moisture from the environment it can form hydrofluoric acid that when on you can migrate into your bones and attack them.
I recall back when Viton( related material to PTFE) Orings were fairly new there was an alert for car mechanics about this. an old trick for holding parts for assembly such as exhaust manifold bolts was to use old orings as a mechanic took things apart he would salvage the rings he found and then when had something like an exhaust manifold to bolt up he would hold the gasket to the manifold by sliding a salvaged Oring up the bolt to hold it this worked well for a very long time until the Viton Orings started to be mixed in whit the stock of other salvaged Orings then when they exhaust manifold gasket had to be replaced the decomposed Viton bring could get on the skin of the mechanic... the article said that fingers had been lost that way...
I have no idea if the PTFE tubes in hot ends can get hot enough to cause this problem but just in case I thought to mention it when I saw you mention the blackened PTFE
