I am thinking of picking some up.
Anyone find any other good ones? I bought some from robot digg and I can see the ptfe move up and down on retracts. I am printing some little spacer clips to stop it but not holding my breath....
update: the clips fit perfectly in both the robot digg and seemecnc pushfits. Attaching the STL's. I think the robotdigg one will also fit on the seemecnc push fit. It is a beefier design. It prevents the bowden from moving. Print at 0.1mm layer height.
I use these hitch pin clips from Harbor Freight, there is a size that fit the push connectors perfectly and prevent it from going down.

I updated my original post with more info. With the clips I found the ptfe just moves in the fitting instead. I think the pushfit was failing trying a new one...

I'm using these. I went through so many of the ones sold by SeeMeCNC. These don't have teeth, I believe they use an o ring to grip the tube.
My theory on why the others connectors didn't work was because rapid retracts caused the teeth to bend and weaken. These new ones I'm using haven't failed yet.
They have ones that look the same on ebay search "KQ2H04-M5" It's almost the same part number as the amazon one listed above but missing the "a" on the end. I will order some to try. I found lot of 5 for $9.32 and free shipping.

I wonder if we could somehow take a PTFE washer with an ID matching the tubing OD, and glue or weld the washer near the end of the tubing. Then we could make a fitting that just clamps the tubing end in place, at least until the weld fails.

I have no idea what the coupling/fastening system is called but I have long thought that the type of connection used on on large X-acto knife handles would make a good cold end PTC substitute. Pic included since I'm bad at explaining things.

It's called a collet and I think you're on to a good idea. I still think threading on the tube itself with matching fittings is the answer. If you look at this thread
http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php ... oil#p29413 it is discussed. Maybe a hybrid of a collet with internal threads?
