Repetier automatically backs off the print speed if the buffer gets below a predefined constant (I think it's 11 or something) so with an SD card it would probably be fine. However, higher resolution = more stepping. At some point the processor will not be able to keep up.

I'm guessing this has been posted somewhere, but i stumbled across it and figured it couldn't hurt to repost it.

Probably not the right thread, but it'll be relevant when the new firmware for ARM boards hits and people need to recalibrate...

Missed the window by a few days, they aren't taking dollars anymore... but I'm going to pick one up when they are in production.
