worth a shot at messaging them here: https://www.behance.net/akemakejaguarking11 wrote:Man I wish I could contact the owner of that design. I was looking at designing my own 3d printable speakers, but these look fantastic and would fit right in with what I need for my audio setup. Not looking for allot of power just a good design with a tube amp. Missed opportunity.

I'm not sure why the STL's are super secretive. They were available for free before the website went down.

I wanted to print a bunch, paying for the design; the designer told me don't do that, please. In any case, to ask anyone who wants it to go directly to the site and download it, then I could print it.
I know the site is not there any more, but I feel I would not be doing the right thing if I distribute the file once I was asked not to do it.
I am sure you can find it if you search the web, or, if you contact the designer directly. Or PM those who has it
Cheers!

Hi guys !
I'm new here and I'm looking for those speaker files.
It seems like some of you have the files, it'd be nice if one of you could send me the files.
Bye !
Edit : I got them, thanks !

Re: Akemake Spirula Speakers
Please someone help out a fellow member.
I realize that the file should be obtained from the site but it is never up to obtain the file.
The file is free on the site and I see no problems distributing it among our members especially since the site is rarely online.

Here's the destructions.
3D Printer Setup
Material: Timberfill (100% wood) by Fillamentum
Printer Settings Recommendation:
Speed (mm/s):
Loops / Solid Infill / Sparse: 50 / 60 / 70
Bedding Temperature: 20-40°C
Extruder Temperature: 175-185°
Estimated Printing Time: 2 x 17h pair
G-Code Generator: Kisslicer
Printing Accuracy: 0.25mm
Nozzle Diameter: 0.4mm
3D Printer Used: Leapfrog Creatr
Components & Tools One Pair
Driver Units: 4" Full Range Speaker
Nominal Impedance: 4Ω
Nominal Power: 15W
Overall Dimensions: 238 x 264 x 124 [mm]
Printing Dimensions: 224 x 242 x 62 [mm]
Shell Thickness: 6.0mm
Internal Volume: 2.2l
Specifications
Full Range Driver: Tang Band W4-1052SDF (2 off)
RCA Connector: Banana Fem Connectors (4 off)
Speaker Spikes: SPS35/SC (6 off)
Bolts: M3 x 15mm (8 off)
Adhesive: Water-based dispersion Adhesive
Soldering Gun, Screwdriver, File, Sand Paper
Optionable: PES or Cotton wool for filling the shell
DIY Guidelines
Bond both printed halves precisely together using 2-component adhesive. When cured, clean up the bonding line using sand paper and paint it. All three feet and 4" full range driver can be mounted to the Spirulida speaker straight after that. Please remember to have approximately 20cm of two cables soldered to the driver before fitting it to the shell. Pull the cables through the back centre hole and solder it to the RCA banana connector (keep in mind to double check polarity before doing so). Now, fasten the Speaker to the Spirulida using four M3 bolts.
Enjoy!

Thank you KAS!
Re: Akemake Spirula Speakers
This is how they look once finished ... they sound as great as they look

Re: Akemake Spirula Speakers
And, if you pair them with a good, old, nice bulb-amp, then you got yourself an epic set!
