My wife was watching agents of shield and she recognized the thing they had running in the background as the same thing I had running in the office. *high five!*

Yeah, they mentioned this at MRRF. That machine is not one they sent out like that to WB (They didn't knowingly send out one with IM carriages). Which means either someone there upgraded it, or bought their own, both of which show they like it. We're also supposed to see a few more of their printers show up on TV sometime soon™.

Finally, one good reason to watch Agents of SHIELD.

Probably soon they will find evidence of the Egyptian Pyramids being 3D printed...

I think that it is cool to see one on A TV show. May they spread world wide, if they haven't already.

Watching the episode now and immediately looked on here, beaten to it! By the sounds of it Fritz killed the print via the rocker switch when he stood up. You would have been gutted if they had to wait hours to get a decent print going for each take haha. I look forward to these other TV sightings....

I'll have £50 on a 30 second special of "How it's made" a 3D printed part.

It shows someone load up a model, slice it and send it to a Rostock, then 5 seconds of mid-print enough to see a shape of a model and then a 360 view of the finished part on the Rostock and one off the plate. All the time while having "Sequences shortened" in small print underneath and "Calibration not shown, requires 1 person all their life" in supersmall print.

I don't understand why people say I'm frivolous with money...
