Hi I am new to 3d printing. I was always interested in 3d printing. I picked the rostock max because of the large print size, community and it just looks really cool. I just got the rostock max v2 kit a week ago and I am almost done assembling it, however I am missing the rambo fan. I was wondering is it safe to run it without it.

It is likely safe short term (while seemecnc ships you one) if you don't push the stepper drivers hard, or if you open the base panels and aim a desk fan through it, alternatively, you could use a standard computer fan, just leaving the tach (yellow usually) wire disconnected.I believe early versions lacked the fan entirely. Best of luck.

Hello ra2000 and welcome to the Forum!
I am also from the eastern Ohio area but I digress.
The fan that fits at the back of the Rambo board is very important as it keeps the driver chips on the Rambo board cool,
it is a very important fan and I would contact Seemecnc as soon as possible and have them send you one.
in the interim if you need to print - open the front panel where the display is and have a small desk type fan blow on
the front of the rambo board. Best of luck and Happy Printing!
