Onyx Bed Temperature Is Not Stabilizing

Still new to working the MAX V2 and haven't actually managed to print anything yet. I was about start on the PEEK fan shroud, but when my heat bed temp was close to 80C, it jumped to somewhere around 140C, and fluctuated between 135C and 155C, sometimes changing 10 degrees at a time. I already checked the thermistor, which I read on a different forum should be at about 100k ohms, and there seemed to be nothing wrong there. On the multimeter it read at 91.6, so fairly normal I would think. I don't know what to do next, so besides asking the tech support on seemecnc, I was wondering if anyone on here had any ideas.

Make sure the themisistor leads aren't shorted or damaged?

If the thermistor is emitting the correct amount of ohms, wouldn't a wire short or damage not be the problem? There wasn't anything wrong that I could see.

Well the thing is, you gotta have something thats giving false readings to your microcontroller. The stock bed can't jump from 80c to 140c... unless your talking about your hotend? either way something is changing the resistance drastically.
