Heat bed gets too hot.

I am having an issue where if I preheat my head and leave it running for a while (to calibrate) and then I go to print, it will never cool to the target temp.

Eg, for 60c it goes up to 63c and just hangs out there. I have to turn off the bed, wait for it to cool, then print. Kind of annoying.

If you connect repeiter host to the printer. does it show it's sending full power to the bed?

Is this just on the first layers of a print? It's not uncommon for the 180-230C of the print head to throw off the reading of the 40-80C bed for the first layer.

The print won't start. If I have on preheat for too long the temp never falls to 60 and the print doesn't start unless I cancel it, turn off the heatbed and Saint for it to cool below 60.

It could be the hotend though, because it usually happens when I'm calibrating and my head is close to the bead.

What slicer? Some programs have the option to ignore over heated temps and start the print anyways.

Right now I'm using matter control, just to get everything dialed in. I have simplify3D that I really like and will use later on.
