Hey guys, While I was waiting for the 713 mount to arrive, I ended up just buying another stock kit and setting it up because... its taken like a month or two now just to wait for parts, was getting impatient.
However in my other machine with stock ez-struder and stock hotend, my filament keeps getting jam or stuck? All i know is that, it's a PAIN IN THE ASS changing filaments. maybe it's just the machine setup but yeah it freaking sucks like no other.

One of the things that concern me is the ezstruder is making a clicking sound, as if the extruder isn't able to push the filament further down towards the bowden? it's quite odd, the last few prints I've been doing (just a bunch of blower fan extensions for the new ball platform-printed 4, need total of 6 (3 for each machine)) ran fine, but then i was printing the ezstruder mount piece because I accidentally broke the one on the machine I ordered off ebay, and I really don't like the stock "rostock mount" for the bondtech extruder as it literally gives you like 3mm of clearance from the bottom side of the top platform.

I'm not sure what it is, I originally thought it was the hotend getting jammed or something because if these pictures can do anything, they'll show you the pla plastic when i pull it out after a jam. You can see the tip that gets inserted to the hot end is really beat up to shit, or eaten up or grinded down. and aside from it being pretty much choppy/chipped (the filament end that goes into the hotend) it definitely was not like this when i inserted the filament, and it has this HUGE, well not huge, but fatter than the standard 1.75 head not sure what the culprit is yet, I was wondering if anything has ever ran into this problem, if so... what was your solution? as of right now I can't print anymore even though i printed all night after setting it all up.

in the end, every time this happens, i have to take apart the ezstruder because the bigger end of the tip of the filament that inserts to the hot end gets fatter and cannot be taken out of the bowden unless i take the bowden adapter off to cut and re-insert filament. now it wasn't bad last night, but as of now, if i take the filament, cut out the bad end. and reinsert it, now it doesn't even push the filament through.

-I've been using matter control 1.5, i'm pretty used to kis slicer for my cubex duo, but i haven't used any other slicer for this machine yet, I've used the cura engine from matter control but it seems to be worse than the matter engine, but it might just be the program.

pla warping is pretty nasty without the fans. but this is what keeps happening, either mid print, or even before the actual print.

Regarding the wobbly section a few inches from the end of the filament, my first instinct says, "it was like that when it came off the spool". Then I recalled that some folks have issues with overheating extruder motors....

Retry the print and keep an eye (finger) on the extruder motor. Is it getting REALLY hot? You should be able to hold your finger to the back of the motor and feel that it's warm, but not hot. (and by "hot" I mean you don't curse and start sucking the tip of your finger after touching the stepper motor. )

If that's NOT the case, you've got some amazingly craptacular filament on your hands my friend.

If it IS hot, you need to dial back the drive current on the extruder motor.

alright, so this is what i found out. it's a mixture of what you're saying and my own personal mess up. so yes, there was a type of pla i was using that just did not want to print very well. but the stock white works fine, for now. It's printing pla @210 with fan on, and bed @60. I found the culprit of the jam to be due to a bowden tube was not flush with the bowden attachment for hot end. At least that's what I think, i redid the tube for now, it's running again, i feel majorly stupid. - ona side note, my extruder motor does run quite hot, but it's not where i curse like you mentioned.
so far no more clicking, i think the space in between the tubing and the bowden allowed the plastic to expand and make itself bigger than the hole allowed for it to enter. tube's a bit short, so i might grab new ones with a better flush finish to ensure the jamming doesn't happen again. By "quite hot" do you mean it's uncomfortable to keep a finger on it for 30 seconds or more?

So it still keeps jamming, mostly on big prints, either one or two of these happen.
1 the Bowden tube connector near the cold end pops out, and filament no longer goes through.
Or
2 the plastic jams from hot end side?
Or a combination of both

This happens when I'm trying to print the rostock ez struder mount the bigger piece.

On a side note, I've gone thru 3 of those little plastic pieces that wedges the 4mm tube to the metal m6 piece? I was wondering where I can get more of those? Or what the actual name or term for it was so I can order more. No matter what I do on that print, it seems that it jams, of the Bowden pops off the top, how do I go about avoiding this?

On another side note, the extruder motor felt okay to touch for me beyond 30 seconds, still bearable. maybe I'll have another person touch it for confirmation as I handle hot pretty well.

Any and all help is appreciated, I might try to print out a rostock mount for the bond tech extruder that's suppose to be for the other machine abd hook it up see if that solves anything, but last night it pop off again trying to print the ezstruder mount, even though it printed fan ducts, my hodor door hold and few other smaller pieces

How far & fast are your retracts with PLA? Is the PEEK fan running? What temperature are you running the PLA at?

Are you saying that the bowden tube is popping out of the push-fit connectors? If so, they may need to be replaced.

So, to keep the bowden from popping out of the PTC fitting, SeemeCNC designed this part: http://repables.com/r/444/ That will work with the stock hotend and EZ struder PTC fittings (The things that hold the bowden in).

If you have E3D/Bondtech style bowden couplers, then you can use this style of clip (Note that the link is the download, don't be surprised at a lack of landing page) http://www.bondtech.se/STL/Bowden-clip%201.75.STL

The name of those fittings (Assuming you're using the seemeCNC ones) is a 4MM PTC quick connect fitting. http://www.mscdirect.com/browse/tnpla/51433605 is a source that looks identical to SeemeCNC's, for about half the price (Although I can't speak to shipping). Alternatively, you can pay twice what SeemeCNC charges to matterhackers, but they'll pick up shipping (None too fast, I wager)

If you're using the E3D style couplers, then the plastic thing is a Collet, for the 1.75MM embedded bowden fitting. you can get them here: http://www.filastruder.com/collections/ ... encoupling

Are these bigger parts in ABS or PLA? What temperature and retract are you using? It could just be that the movement of the bowden tube is again allowing plastic to expand and thus jam the nozzle. I might also try going slower and (For ABS) hotter.
