"Thin" Extrusion
"Thin" Extrusion
Not much of a problem but it just makes it look wierd , When doing something flat like a cube, The extrusions don't touch each other. I'm thinking either it's not hot enough( I really doubt it though) , not enough extruding( again doubt it, 200% extrusion override) Now my last idea is I set the wrong nozzle size wrong in slic3r. The standard nozzle for the h-1 was .5mm right? Any other ideas.

What layer height are you using and are you certain the filament isn't slipping.tom10122 wrote:Not much of a problem but it just makes it look wierd , When doing something flat like a cube, The extrusions don't touch each other. Filament is fine, I use .2mm layer height. I think I am going to torch the hot end and try again
Re: "Thin" Extrusion
I think the problem was EMC2(LinuxCNC) It has two places to set the max velocity, one is an overall max and one is a max specific to each motor, when I used feed override , it wasn't really overriding so I had to increase the max velocity of my extruder
