Used Rostockmax v2 want to upgrade arm questions

Hi,
I picked up a used Rostock on craigslist with a clogged hotend. I fixed it up and ran a few prints and everything was good until I came down stairs and one of the arms had popped off the rod got past the washer somehow.
My question is how can I tell if I have the old or new cheapskates? I know the arms are not the ball cup versions.

Even without a picture you are most likely using the old arms and the old cheapskates.
You can purchase the new cheapskates and the latest ball end arms at Seemecnc.com

If they are flat, they are the old ones. If they are clear (assuming they aren't painted), those are the new ones. If it has 3 wheels, it's a trick truck.

Hi, be aware that if you have the u-joint platform/carriages, the Repetier firmware from the GitHub page will not work as a direct update.
Some values regarding the delta geometry needs to be modified.

Looks like my cheapskates are right do I need to anything special if I wanna use the new arms.
Going to order what I need to tomorrow.

Nope. Just the Ball cup delta arm kit, and some time adjusting firmware values.

One last question which firmware values do I change. Do I do this from the computer or can I change them from the lcd menu.
Sorry if this sounds ignorant I have only been 3d printing for a few months and although this is my second machine I did not do the initial building or firmware installation.

Once you've got the new arms installed, grab the current user manual for the v2 and follow the instructions. You'll be fine.
