Nozzel and Bed not going to temp

Nozzel and Bed not going to temp

Did se cleaning of the nozzle after it jammed up. Put everything back to getther and calibrated z height and what not. Not i just see this reading NOZ: def. BED: def Not sure what to make of it. I trked setting the temp but it just stays on this message and none of the temps change. Ive attached an image of the display. Any helpnwould be greatly appreciated, thanks!

That is an indication of a thermistor fault. Check your solder connection for the hotend thermistor, since that's where you were playing at.

Would the bed also read def if only the hotend thermistor was faulting?

Yes. The firmware assumes that one fault means that neither is to be trusted, and that the printer will be non-functional anyways. Annoying that it doesn't tell you which one is dead, but it's the way it is.
