z-stepper steps

So I think most Of my problems have actually been because of my z-height being off by the slightest amt. If I remember correctly my z-steps had #.33333333333 which I think builds up in the end, After a print if I put my nozzle to the bed its about 5mm higher then it should. How should I address the problem? Just round my z-steps down? I tried re-calibrating it but it always seems to be right.
