Dimensions for new build plate

Hi there,

I am wanting to machine an aluminium build plate for my rostock max V2.

I was wondering what dimensions people used when they do these? Diameters and thicknesses.
http://download.seemecnc.com/rostockmax ... dition.pdf - and others has diameter as 300mm
https://www.seemecnc.com/collections/pa ... late-310mm - has diameter as 310mm.

I was also wanting to know thicknesses of aluminium I should use for a heat spreader. Should I make it thicker if I want to print directly onto the aluminium surface?

Thanks

Matt

The Onyx page goes into more detail about the dimensions of the bed itself, the diameter of the mounting holes, etc.
I think the Trick Laser heat spreader plates are 1/8". That does a find job for me.

I do Glass on top of the aluminum on top of the Onyx. That way the heat gets spread out evenly before it hits the glass. That's what I tell myself, anyway.
