Hello everyone. I finished building a my new Rostock Max a couple weeks ago and have been printing daily since. I would like to make a few updates like a Z-Probe and more lights. The problem I have is that all the raceways withing the 8020 extrusion don't allow more wires to be added. Does anyone have any suggestions about a separate raceway that I can install or other ways to make more room in the existing channels?

A member posted that he used 1/2" wide, package banding tape that he bought from his local UPS store. He ran his wires up the towers where the carriage wheels ride, and then slipped the banding in to cover the wires. Tricklaser used to sell plastic strips to do the same thing, but not anymore.

That's a great idea.. I might draw something up and print a few pieces and try that. Thank you for the suggestion!!!

I think I'm going to add some external channels for my wires, and re-wire everything to go through them. It won't look as clean, but will be much more serviceable.
