[Orion] Gcode Question Related to the "speaker"/"buzzer" On The Control Console

I have several printers here and on each one I use custom G-code to make the speaker play music on print-start and play again at print end.

For example, my Folgertech I3 plays the Marine Hymn at start and Ode To Joy when the print ends.

Tried to make it work on the Orion this morning, I all I got was a shrill and raspy buzz then silence. I can see the G-code scrolling so I know the machine is "hearing" the commands I send, I'm not getting the response that I anticipated.

The Rambo/LCD combo that's used doesn't interpret the frequency as a frequency. It will make a few different types of trills but that and duration are all I've found.

Ok good to know. A minor quirk in an otherwise fantastic printer!

Piezo buzzers have their own oscillator and generally produce only one tone when power is applied. You can only control duration by turning it on and off. This is what you've got, which is why it doesn't work like a speaker.

You presumably have a different device on your FolgerTech.

It is actually the same control screen.

So that means something is different in the firmware.

Almost makes me want to throw Marlin on it and see what happens. Almost.
