Pause and restart

I have the V3 can you pause, move the extruder, and restart where you left off? Or change colors
(On Repeater Host, at least, in my experience with an H1.1, but it should transfer.)
You can hit the pause button, then use the movement controls to move the head, do something, use the controls to move back (i.e. you hit the X+100 button once, do what you want to do, then hit the X-100 button once). You can then resume.
You can also go into the G-code and insert an '@pause' command (if I remember right), typically at a layer boundary.
