So what is the HE280's max temp without the hot end? I assume it is somewhere around 245-247 like the Rostock Max v2?
Any word on when the Hi-Temp jet kit will be available?
HE280 max temp?

Re: HE280 max temp?
Hmmm, does this indicate 280c, or 280c only with the optional jet-kit?
NEW HE280 Hotend that uses a 40w heater cartridge and all-metal design. The hotend also features thermal runaway protection by using a thermal fuse mounting in the heat sink to monitor temps and kill all power to the heater in the event of any over temp condition. PTFE liner stops at the heat break and allows even PLA to print up to 250c, and allows any material up to 280c. (optional jet-kit available separately for printing of nylons and other hi-temp filaments)
seems to indicate 240c

Re: HE280 max temp?
Looks like this is the answer... any real world experience?
Max Hotend Temp 280c*
* High temp jet kit recommended but not required for temps above 250c

Re: HE280 max temp?
i asked about this, turns out that you can print anything up to 280, but you might have to print slower to allow the polycarbonate or nylon to melt, but you dont need it to print them, only to print them fast.
