Hi,
I just finished building my Max V3 on Saturday. I have been watching the progress of the Max since V1. It is my first 3d printer so I am a total noob.
I am a CNC programmer/machinist by trade-30+ years now (yikes!). I have an 11 year old daughter that assisted some with the build, and a 14 year old that is somewhat interested in it. We hope to print some cool stuff for our drones, r/c airplanes, rockets and whatever else we can think of.
Hey there from Vermont

Welcome to the forums.
I'm a CNC programmer machinist by training (still in school), although I'm probably closer to your kids ages than even the number of years you've been in the trade.
Let us know if you have any questions, and if you come up with some interesting stuff, please do show us. I've got an appreciation for a well built rocket, and have made more than a few myself over the years. Hopefully you enjoy the printer.
