Im almost finished with my 6ft Max Metal build so I decided to take a brake and solve my layer fan issue. It a 3 squirrel fan mount that is designed to mount underneath the max metal platform. I haven't had a chance to print it out but will later tonight and report back. Here's the model if anybody is interested.

Update TG wont let me upload a file for 24h so ill post the link once my account has been approved. For those who want it sooner, pm me and i can email you the file.

That's... high! Did you build that with a certain print in mind, or just to have the largest... printer ;-)

I built it for prototyping bike frames. So I needed a printer tall enough to make tubes as long as possible. Hence the very tall delta.

Cool, I love to see real world applications. Thanks for sharing photos.

I like the fan shroud, might print one for my MAX Metal

(by the way, NICE printer) ;)

You could print a fully functional bike frame with carbon fiber filaments from 3DXTech

It's good for prototyping. I think it has a long way to go to make an actual frame.

So much goes into the carbon layup and direction for stiffness and compliance that I don't think you can reproduce as easily with a 3D printer.
