Post by Gundy1024 »

I am trying to use PETG but my printer will not go above 245c, how can I make it go higher?

If you are using the stock hot end, it isn't recommended to go higher than 245 because of the risk of melting the PEEK section of the hotend. If you are running an all metal hotend, you have to edit the firmware and reload it into the printer to get anything higher. There are two locations, if I remember correctly, that you have to edit the firmware.
