Hi,
This is my first build (H1.1) and I am right now working on the rear base sub assembly. I am trying to fit the pulley onto the stepper motor as shown here: http://seemecnc.org/download/H1-1/H1_1% ... sembly.PDF but I'm not sure how far down to press it in to place. Should I basically push it all the way on? I'm hesitant to push it too far on, since taking it off of the shaft seems nearly impossible given how tight the fit is.
Here's a picture of the area I am talking about:
Build question: pulley fit?
Re: Build question: pulley fit?
Mount the steppers first and the idlers, etc. Then install the pulleys to align with the idlers.
You can remove the pulley easily if you can get a wide blade screwdriver between it and the mount and lever it up.
Regards,
Michael
