HBP Sandwich

So I have Onyx and Boro glass en route. Should I have something between these two for better/more even heat transmission? Can I just sit the glass right on the Onyx? I don't really want to adhere the glass to the Onyx - I have more than one boro coming and would like the option of swapping them between prints... or is this not recommended?

Usually you out the glass right on top of the hated bed, attached with clips of some description.
The only issue swapping them out is if they aren't exactly the same width, you need to reset the Z offset.

My Rostock kit came with a pack of binding clips to hold the glass on the hot bed. You can get these at office supply stores.
Glass from the same sheet is remarkably uniform - especially in thickness. I had several plates (3/16" thick) cut for my H-1 and routinely swap them with no problem. I find that removing the glass and allowing it to cool makes removing the part easier.

That's exactly why I got two of the round boro from SeeMeCNC, so I can quick swap them between prints. I'm also a fan of hairspray on glass, so it makes it cleaner to spray the glass before it's installed in the machine. Makes it easier to clean the glass, too.
