Could you give us an example. I can do attachments fine usually. For example:

- example for attachments.
Do you check the status on the attachments as they upload? I noticed in the past that on slow connections that they wouldn't be fully uploaded and would fail when posted. There may also be user restrictions on it, to prevent spammers from blasting them all over the forums. It may also be dependent on the filetype.

How can I post an example when the attachments vanish?
I select "Attachments."
I watch the progress-o-meter do it's thing.
It finishes.
The attachment appears in the list.
I submit my post.
There's no images.

I would say link to the file on Google docs/dropbox/mega or try PMing it to someone, or else describe the file. There may be size limits that change based on filetype and user rank (It may also use Mime-type, which can cause issues even if the file is actually legit, since it is designed to be a way to look at the data rather than a changable extension to figure out the file type). You might also PM or email someone at seemeCNC to see if it's an administrative issue.

The attachment may appear in the list, but if you don't hit the "insert into post" button, it won't appear.

Hit the button "Place Inline".

Oddly Geneb, if you look at my test post, only the first one is placed inline, and yet I see the second one. It works the same way when I post STL's, where they will be at the end of post as a clickable link

...which I would gladly do if that button appeared. I only have "Delete File," however.

Out of curiousity, what browser and operating system are you using?

Windows 10 and Chrome.

The Place Inline button only gets displayed when the file has finished uploading. Watch the green bar on the right, labelled Status. I would guess that if you post before the files finish then they won't get included in the post.

Let's see how this goes...
Edit: 4.26MB file worked perfectly, following your recipe.
I then removed it again because this forum doesn't need a 4.26MB picture of my failed print.
