dear printer-companions :D
I hope you all had a great christmas-time... :)

My RostockV2 with the upgrades was running some prints. Everything smooth.
But now I am having strange results.
Some layers are like squeezed out. Hard to discribe.I hope you can see it on the pic.

I am printing with PLA at about 190/195°C with heatbed 50°C,
0.3mm layerheight, infill 25% and the speed at 80mm/s

does anyone of you guys have an idea what causes this unclean layers?

thank you so much

It look like some play or looseness in the nozzle/effector. Is the nozzle loose? One of the belts loose?

Thank you for your advice Joe. I tightened the belts. I got to admit the correct belt tension is a big mystery to me
Nozzle and the rest seems to be tight. I will now try to print some callibration boxes.

Great to have you guys here.
...and again a big thank you :)

Hello,
I am having similar problems with prints on my RMv3... I will check my belt tension - but like rabbit - I don't really know what amount of tension is correct.
Also, I assume that having the same amount of tension on all three belts is a good thing.
Is there a tool or technique that someone can recommend to help get this right?
Thanks in advance!

good question RichWP! :D
I tightened the belts but the results are not better. it is really strange cause a few days ago everything was fine.
it is really frustrating cause I need to get it working fast. like always when you need it to work something gets in the way :?

could it be that the walls are to thin? the model I try to print is only 2mm thick!
