Hello World

Post by Chrisw265 »

My name is Chris and I have a confession. After stalking the forums and reading up on everything for a while, I'm proud to say I am officially one of you with the recent purchase of a Rostock Max V3 Kit. I'm a mechanical engineering student at Embry-Riddle in Daytona, Florida, though I was born in Toronto, Canada. I figured that this investment would not only help further my education, but it would become a new hobby of mine. I was first exposed to 3D Printers in high-school and was immediately hooked and used it at every opportunity available, even with modeling and printing a spider web as an art project.

If anyone is curious, my high-school used the UP Plus 2 Printer, which was ok, but rather finicky at times. When it worked, it worked very well.

I look forward to discovering more about printers as I go.
