KISSslicer issue

Hey all, I decided to give KISSslicer a try last night on a model that's just not slicing properly in Cura. I pulled mhackney's .ini files off of the RMv3 sticky post, and when the print begins, the extruder starts spinning rapidly and non-stop, completely stripping/grinding the filament.

Is there a setting I'm missing/have wrong? I poked around for a while and even compared to mhackney's bandaid model gcode and it looks identical in all the right spots.

Sounds like you have Absolute E set in Printer->Firmware on the Firmware Type drop down. Choose 5D - Relative E

Thanks for the reply! I tried Relative E as well (which was the original setting) and was getting zero motion on the extruder motor

I'll give it another go when I get home in a few hours.

I haven't found the actual difference from last night and I've got some material tweaking to do...but I'm printing! Thank you, good sir!
