I just bought some build tac put it down on my Rostock Max, printed a few items and went back to blue tape. First, the adhesion is so good it is really hard to get things off. Secondly, there is always a residue of PLA (I don't do ABS) left that needs to be scrapped off. In doing that, I accidently ripped a hole in the surface. Blue tape is inexpensive, I don't care if I tear it off removing a print, it is easy to put more back on. Basically I am done trying new fancy techniques for adhesion, it's not worth the trouble.
