I am an artist, mainly sculpting in clay. I have been thinking of getting a 3d printer to help me for some time, but I know nothing of electronics. I chose the max3 because reviews said it was accurate and reliable also good at organic forms. I hope to use it for prototypes, mold making, scaffolding and impressing clients with its coolness.
I chose a kit because I am demanding of quality but not made of money. Also I read that 3d printing is a fiddly business and its best if I know just how the thing works.
