HE280 upgrade help!

I was all set tonight to knock out a hotend upgrade I've had for like 6 months, so I get everything setup and it looks
like I've gotten to step 5 and hit a brick wall.
It says "Loosen and remove ONLY the wire from the Fan 0 + terminal on the top of the RAMBo board.".. Well on my Rambo
board on Fan 0 only the - terminal is connected, there is no + terminal wire.
After that they talk of splicing that wire and doing things with a wire I dont have connected.
What stupid thing am I missing? Or am I looking at an outdated wrong doc for the Rostock Max V2?
