PLA & ABS Same Issue - Suggestions?

Hello all. I am having issues with printing a clamp in both PLA & ABS. There is globs of material in same area of both prints. I am using Matter Control software with MatterSlice slicer configured. I was thinking I should try another slicer, but interested in more experienced opinions (I am a rookie).
White PLA printed at 210, retraction 4.5mm length on move
Black ABS printed at 245, retraction 6mm length on move
Any other suggestions on improving prints welcome

Looks like a poorly tuned restart length, or else the retract speed should be tuned. Likely lower, as you're likely using an E3D-esque hotend, where to avoid jamming, the maximum length should be 2mm or less, and the speeds rather low. I would also make sure that your wipe settings are adjusted a little, and that you don't have a longer restart distance than your retract

@Xenocrates thank you. Gives me something to work with. I also should mention I am printing with Rostock max v3 kit with supplied hot end.

I'd turn the retract length down to 2mm or so, and play with retract speeds down around 10-25mm/s
