Extruder?

Post by ken234 »

I installed the seemecnc extruders on my Geeetech a10 and calibrated the e steps, it's working ok but the extruder will skip on the filament sometimes,I'm not sure if it's still feeding to fast or the extruder isn't hot enough and it jams.it prints ok and I haven't seen any problems in the print so far but just curious if anyone has any Idea what could be causing it

Okay, this is a head scratcher. Isn't the hotend on the Geeetech a direct drive extruder?

But the occasional skip isn't going to hurt anything. I usually get them (if I get them at all, that is) on the first layer.

Did you check the current settings for the steppermotor in the firmware? I'm assuming you changed out the steppermotor also.
