printing outside edge

I have a problem that just started. Some students created solid objects using Solidworks, saved the part as an STL file, I imported that into Cura 3.4.1, set up the parameters, saved as a gcode file. When printing only the outside edges are printing. These look good. However no bottom or infill is printing. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Maybe a better description is the outside walls of the object are printing but the insides are not. One object is a key ring. The outside walls and the wall of the ring hole print but the bottom and the infill is not being printed.

I'd check your infill settings.

You can change to Layer View in Cura to see how each layer is going to print.

I created an experimental box with a indented cutout in Solidworks, saved it as an STL file, imported into Cura 3.4.1. I then looked at the layer view and see no Infill as I progress through the layers. I looked at the infill settings. The infill density is 50%, infill line distance is 0.05mm, infill pattern is Grid, infill overlap percentage is 10%, infill layer thickness is 0.1618 and gradual infill steps is 5. So, I really do not see why there isn't any infill being created.

OK. I do not know the reason for the problem but I believed I fixed it. I uninstalled and reinstalled Cura. Then I removed and added the 3D printer. After I did that the infill was showing in the layer view.
