Keep the screws loose?

When i initially started i was aborting meny prints do to adhesion issues. After several attempts I would find, even though i had calibrated my z height while at temp, my build surface had suddenly shifted downward by 0.5 mm. While i found it strange it change so dramatically after being at temp for so long, i decided instead of trying to work the bowing into my calibrations i should just loosen the screws and let it expand naturally. What tension is left from the screws is enough to keep then onyx from sliding around when printing. I haven't had any issues sense and was wondering if anyone is doing this or if anyone foresees me having problems in the future.

Are you printing directly on the Onyx without glass or aluminum on top? That big PCB is going to warp all over the place at temperature so you really need something flat on top of it.
